With the Hot Weather We Went to Robidoux and Played in the River

Fuzzy LOVES the water!  He likes for us to throw rocks into the water, and him to catch them.  Sometimes he looks like he is a drowned duck!   But it is lots of fun, for he and I.

Our daughter Kimberly works for CDOT.  In putting together a snow plow rodeo Kimberly asked if her Dad could come drive one of the snow plows.  Terry really found the obstacle course a great challenge and fun.

A nasty skunk got into the hen house last night and killed all but one of my wonderful hens!  I am so upset!  The hen is so upset!
I found where the skunk got in; he/she must have had to dig most of the night to enjoy this delicious meal of my hens!

We farm about 5 miles from the heart of our progressive little town, Delta. We are both ‘natives’ to the Delta community, Terry being raised by a second generation Dairyman, and I by a second generation Orchardist/and Business owner.

The sun sets around 8:30 in May, so the days are long.  Work isn’t just 8-5, but starts around 5:30 in the morning and ends after the sun goes down.
