The Sweet Corn Harvest started today. Although we don’t raise sweet corn, our neighbors do. There are two kinds of sweet corn surrounding us—Tuxedo and Olathe Sweet. I can’t tell the difference, but I am sure those who raise the variety can. I think they both taste really good.

They raise lots of potatoes, but we saw alfalfa fields, and grain fields.
We saw mostly pivot sprinkler systems, a few tube irrigated, and some flood irrigation, but most pivot.
