Happy Halloween

Work begins at dawn.  There are animals to feed, water to fill, wood to haul, stuff to get done BEFORE getting ready for the town job.

This is dawn (daylight savings time, October 31, 2008), right out our backdoor, just as we are heading out to do morning chores.

  2. It’s so beautiful but I’m already shivering thinking about those cold mornings and the farm chores to be done.

  3. Alas, I’m not looking forward to the time change but early morning chores will be easier with a little more light here too.

  4. That’s a gorgeous sunrise. Whew that makes me tired just looking at this pic and thinking I had to go out that early in the winter. Ever since I had chemo I absolutely freeze in the winter time .

  5. Next week you will be out doing the early chores in the dark..do you have one of those miners hats with a light? Beautiful Photo:)

  6. Beautiful pics…I love seeing life through your eyes, farm life in Colorado.
Blessings to you this weekend, especially as we start a new month.
