The Weather Outside is Frightful
The wind blew in a horrible cold snap….40 degrees at the beginning of the day, then a rapid drop to 16, with lots of wind and some snow.

This morning, when I went to do the chores, it was 7 degrees. Then when I went to work it was 6 degrees. Snow is predicated for this afternoon 5-6 inches by nightfall.
Ugh! I drove in on ice and it looks like I will be driving home on ice and in snow!
Some of you have it worse though, so I shall not complain (too much).

It sure does look cold there. It’s ice everywhere here too. I’ll be happy when we have more snow cover.

It is a bone chilling cold here. I am sure ice is no fun for you, plus coming and going in the dark. Stay safe! Six more days til the longest day:(

Be careful on that ice. Hmmm, how do you drive on ice and snow? If we have a sprinkling of snow or ice, we don’t drive. lol…
Pretty pictures. I hope your weather improves soon.
I hate to mention this but yesterday’s high was 79 degrees here and today is suppose to be cooler..72.
I know, that was mean. and I will probably pay for it next week.
Stay safe and warm.

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog! Out here in PA, we’d be calling a snow emergency and stocking up on supplies. (Well, not us in particular…but people don’t handle snow around here, despite the fact that we get a fair amount!)Stay warm!

We are having a cold day for us too. My girls are freezing- it is 40 outside & rain for the next 4 days. It is finally starting to feel like Christmas around here.
I love seeing pictures of the snow – but am glad I am not in it…

Yep. That looks cold cold cold. I look forward to the solstice too- short days make for a short temper on my part.
