I'm envious of your mud. We have frost and cold and snow. Twenty five below zero tonight and for the next three days. It's too cold to be outside.

Winter = mud here. Wet, sticky, slick clay mud. It is worse in the winter than the spring!

I'm glad that it's warming up for you during the day. We've had some nice afternoons here lately. 32 - 36 degrees. Nice to see the eve's dripping but definately no mud. Too much snow here for that. My chickens won't leave the hen house - they are afraid of freezing their feet!

We're getting more and more snow here in Michigan. When it does go away its just for like one day before it snows again.

Funny thing to be excited about mud, isn't it? Don't you still have a lot of cold weather to go this winter. I can't even guess about here. 67 in Denver today, yesterday brought wind gusts up to 100 miles an hour. (and fire on the dry fields). Tomorrow is suppose to get colder again. So strange. Hope all of your chickies will be fine.
