The Corn is Tally High

Tally-and-the-Corn-002

The corn is doing well; too tall now to cultivate.  And the rain has stopped.  Well, it has moved to the mountains surrounding us, we are only experiencing heavy afternoon winds.  Lots of sun!

Life is good.

Your rainbow pics are awesome. What a moment to capture!!

  5. WHat a cutie-pie! Yep, Michelle was right about the tassel-colored hair. Seeing the corn reminded me that I need to go thin mine a little. I planted them too close together I think. See ya around!

  6. Oh, my gosh… she is just too cute… our corn better get going if it is going to be knee high by the fourth of July, has not been very warm here at all… Love the photo!

  7. I love seeing corn burst through and grow, don’t you? Next year for us. I plan to plant black aztec or bloody butcher. Can’t wait!

So nice to talk with you today. Vikki at http://www.backyardgrocerygardening.blogspot.com

  8. I can’t get over how tall your corn is. Here in Maine the corn growth might be two inches high, if that. Please send us some sun!

  9. Darling picture!

  10. She is just precious!

  11. I love it! That’s an adorable little one with the corn.
Your corn is doing outstanding. Much taller than mine :)
I’m glad for you that the rain has stopped. We had two days of dry weather and now it’s raining again. Rain now through Sunday night :(
Guess I’ll hate to stay in and do housework…YUCK!!

    Have a great weekend :)

  12. Tally has tassel colored hair. How cute.

  13. I’m thinkin’ by your links you all must be non-gmo corn producers. Is that so? Cute photo BTW!

  14. Oh, my goodness, she is cute! LOL

  15. Adorable. Pretty soon she’ll be lost in that corn, huh. I still remember fun times playing in those corn fields. Some things never go away.
