“Ain’t We Got Fun?” (Richard Whiting / Gus Kahn / Raymond S. Egan 1921)

Today’s world has brought to us the riches of wonderful and thoughtful friends.
Far Side sent to me these darling photo cards as a thank you.
What a wonderful time we live in, when friends from around the globe can be made in the twinkle of an internet second through blogging.
Thanks you, Far Side! Your photography is beautiful; I will enjoy mailing these cards to friends and relatives near and far!

Hey! You got them! Great, I am so glad you enjoyed them..and I am sure who ever you send them to will like them also! It was the least I could do since you were so generous with the book “The Haymakers” I have not read it yet..but I am looking forward to it:)

They are great! I love blogging and since I have found it, I am on the computer for hours sometimes, because I love to reply to my comments and comment on your blogs! I think everyone has their own talent on their photos for their blogs. I think everyone is their own worst critic, (like Me).

What pretty letters someone will be getting from you. Yes, having electronic pen pails is pretty great. Remember checking the post office box when i was in high School hoping to get a letter from my friends at church camp… or a special boy. It was a good 20 minute walk to get there, but i was always so excited to check… and sad if there was no mail.

Blogging is the best of social networking. The opportunity to be friends with people that you have never met is the best. It is the best sense of pen pal history.

I’ve said many times that I would have loved blogging when I was raising kids and learning how to cook. Which I still can’t do. But it is so neat for all these people to share so many many things.
