Dreaming

Yep, Christmas has just past, and yesterday was the New Year…but I’m ready for Spring.

Very ready!

Temps were -10* this morning with -18* for tomorrow….this is what I HATE about winter…the bitter cold.

But, my mailbox is filling up

DreamsI sit dreaming about warmth, vibrant plants and flowers… Where I’m going to put them and how they are going to look.

Then what I’m going to do with them after they come into their own.

Hooray for SEED Catalogs!

  2. I hate that bitter cold too. Partly because I’m uncomfortable and mostly because I worry about the livestock. But seed catalogs help a bunch!

  3. AMEN!! I’m getting lots of the same ones you got and I look through them every night and thinking about doing a spreadsheet of the items I want and the prices from each catalog to see who ranks the best price wise! I’ll let you know how it goes.

  4. Glad to know I’m not the only one who has seed catalog fever! I am so ready to plant a garden and winter is just getting started. I might try out making a cold frame.

  5. Brrr, I am glad we aren’t getting that cold. We have started getting our seed catalogs also. I am hoping to have a good garden this year. We skipped it last year on account of my arm.

  6. That’s what we gardeners LOVE to do this time of year —-dream and prepare for Spring.. George and I have been looking at more gorgeous flowers… Think we need a bigger yard though in order to add more!!!! ha

Have a wonderful ‘dreamy’ day… It’s very cold and dreary here today… I’m either ready for a big snow or some SUNSHINE…. ha

    Hugs,

  7. I love the Meyer’s Hatchery catalog peeking out of the back of your seed catalogs. Mine just arrived in the mail yesterday, and I’m already daydreaming about what layer breeds I want to add to my flock!

I am going to have to look into a couple of your seed catalogs. I had not heard of them before. So far this year, I have the Landreth Seed Catalog and Baker Heirloom one.
