Yesterday was BATH DAY!!!!
Mom said that we had to go because Fuzzy needed to get his fur cleaned up from the surgery.
So we went…
It wasn’t bad. Fuzzy and I actually enjoyed it!
Then when we got home Mom, Fuzzy and I went for a walk.
We saw lots of birds again-
Ring necked doves,
Our chickens,
A tree full of blackbirds
A hawk,
Sammy the cat
went with us…
First me, then Mom,
then Fuzzy and then Sam.
It was great!
But, I must admit I stayed really close to Mom,
because…
You see…
Hum……….
THERE WERE BABIES OUT THERE!!!
We saw two babies! Now every day there will be more and more!
Pretty Cool, isn’t it!?
Boomer

Wow! That’s quite a ‘do you got there Fuzzy
. Lookin’ good! Great stories and pictures as always, Linda.
You boys look awesome after your baths. Fuz, you are very much fluffier! And Booms, you just glow! What a nice walk. New babies are pretty cool. You’re right to be cautious. Mamma cows can be a bit cranky.
Gus.
Fuzzy and Boomer, you look great after your bath and I bet you both smell better, too! Baby calves..nothing is cuter!! Especially little bull calves with the soft curly hair on their foreheads! That was a nice walk you all took. It was a nice day for a walk here today, but Lucky didn’t feel like going out today. Maybe tomorrow when it’s supposed to be almost 70.
Blessings!
What a lovely walk! Lots to see also!
Pretty cool and so beautiful was your walk
I agree that they look so sleek and shiny – great photos.
Fuzzy…. did they bleach the hair on your back? LOL, I know they didn’t but it looks lighter. It will be fun to look for new babies every day but don’t get too close to them!!! Tell your mom that the photos were magnificent, as usual!! Take care!!
Sam, in the rear, must be very observant. You just have to watch out for those baby cows.
Things are starting to wake up from winter just a bit and you two guys are just the two to keep watch over things.
Thanks for sharing the family walk — you guys really saw a lot. The weather looks pretty good too.
I think one step closer to that newly born calf and a certain hound would have been doing a
Usain Bolt!!! I have my doubts if the “Booms” short little legs would have been touching the ground, more like low flying.
Funny to see the cat bringing up the rear, doesn’t seem to have the enthusiam of the dogs in
this adventure in the calving paddock.
The countryside looks pretty good for this time of the year. The heifers certainly look in great nick in readiness for the calving.
Is that snow still on top of the ranges in the distance?
Great report Linda and amusing captions. Your Friday reports are always great.
Cheers
Colin (Brisbane. Australia)
Weather: Real miserable variety, more rain I suspect. February sure didn’t come.
Today here only a max of 26 Celsius, min overnight was 19c.
What beautiful babies. Delightful! Glad the weather cooperated for the newborns. My cousin had a ranch in southern Colorado, and many years had blizzards–and calves in her kitchen. She had an old stove on the porch and wrapped calves in blankets and put them in the oven with the setting on warm!
Baths..Chance hates baths..but you guys look great! Thanks for the walk..it is good to hear that Fuzzy can go so far! Baby calves what fun to see:)
What a great collection of wild (and tame) life you have there!
looks like a great walk in a great place!
You boys look STUNNING!
