This is what we had yesterday!

Lovely!  I enjoyed every minute of it….I worked in the yard for four hours yesterday, it was so nice.  47*.

Terry finished up the ground work on the fields he is going to plant…next he will level the fields, then fertilize, mark out  and we are ready for to turn on the water.  They are still saying they will turn it on April 1st.  It takes a full week for the water to get to us, but when it does get here we will be ready! :)

The temps dropped to 15* last night, a huge warm-up from the night before!  It is predicted to get to 62* today with a low of 23*.

Unless something changes (where the weather is concerned it just might) we are on our way to settled weather!

  1. Hi There, Still snowy and cold here today—but hopefully will begin to warm up soon. Note my deer pictures (2 of them) on Facebook when you have a chance… Neat photos of the deer in the snow I think…

Glad you are getting a little warmer –and hopefully that water will get to you all soon.

  2. Good for you, good weather, water and even warmer temps! We are hoping to get up in the higher 40’s by this weekend.

  3. ‘Warming up’ is relative (it still sounds cold to me, but I hear the same thing as what you said from our Colorado kids) . I am glad Spring is finally on the way and glad the water and prep for it is on schedule.

  4. I hope you get a good streak of weather now that irrigating and planting are on the agenda. You had some beautiful blue skies.

  5. Why does the water take a week to get to you – how far away is it? I’m fascinated….knowing that a tsunami can get across the ocean in a few hours!!!
